How difficult is it to find a job in Canada for an international professional?
The answer to this question depends on numerous factors. Some professions are more in demand by employers in Canada than others. The demand for particular professions also fluctuates over time depending on the economic cycle, value of the Canadian dollar, among numerous other factors. In general, however, it is possible for many different types of people from various professions to find a job in Canada. It does require effort but there are many opportunities at any given point in time, some of which are hidden from view. Some regions within Canada are also doing better than others and have more of a labour shortage. Alberta and Saskatchewan generally fall within this category. There are also various remote regions in Canada where companies have a harder time finding employees. Such regions can often be good places to find jobs.
